Promotional codes are not valid on sale or clearance items, as these products are already reduced in price. All offers are subject to stock availability and apply only to full-priced products.
General Terms & Conditions
Placing an Order
By submitting an order through our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions. All our calls may be recorded for training and monitoring purposes.
By placing an order online, you are offering to purchase goods from Matthews Direct Imports Ltd subject to these terms.
Once your order has been submitted, you will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your order. This acknowledgement does not constitute acceptance of your order. A legally binding contract will only exist once your order has been accepted, processed, and dispatched by Matthews Direct Imports Ltd.
We reserve the right to amend product pricing, specifications, and availability without prior notice. Delivery charges will be added where applicable and displayed during checkout.
Orders placed and accepted before 2:00pm are normally dispatched the same working day, subject to stock availability, for next working day delivery within mainland UK where possible. Orders received after 2:00pm may be processed the following working day. Delivery timeframes provided are estimates only and cannot be guaranteed.
While we aim to provide reliable next day delivery services, Matthews Direct Imports Ltd cannot accept responsibility for delays caused by circumstances outside our control, including courier delays or adverse conditions. We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses arising from delayed deliveries.
If you instruct the courier to leave parcels unattended or without a signature, responsibility for the goods passes to you once delivery has been completed.

Certain products, including dyed or coated items, may experience colour transfer, fading, or variation during use. We cannot accept liability for this where it results from normal usage.
Product dimensions may vary slightly within acceptable manufacturing tolerances unless products have been custom-made to agreed specifications.
If you believe an item received differs materially from its advertised description, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. Provided the product is unused and returned in its original condition, we will inspect the item and arrange a refund where appropriate.
Please note that colour appearance may vary depending on screen settings and display devices.
Stock Availability
We aim to keep our website stock levels accurate and up to date. However, occasionally products may become unavailable unexpectedly. If an item you have ordered is out of stock, we will contact you to discuss alternative options, delays, or refunds.
Returns & Refunds
If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may return eligible items within 30 days of receiving your order.
Returned products must be:
- Unused
- In original packaging
- In resalable condition
- Complete with all supplied parts and accessories
Once returned items have been received and inspected, we will arrange either an exchange or refund as appropriate. Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a faulty product.
Customers are responsible for return postage costs unless otherwise agreed.
Custom-made, made-to-order, or specially manufactured products are non-returnable unless faulty.
Certain specialist products may be subject to restocking charges where applicable.
Delivery Information
Deliveries may require a signature from someone aged 18 or over. If no one is available to accept delivery, the courier may leave a calling card or attempt redelivery.
Couriers generally attempt delivery twice before returning parcels to the depot. Additional delivery charges may apply if redelivery is required due to failed delivery attempts not caused by Matthews Direct Imports Ltd or the courier.
Unless instructed otherwise, parcels may be left with a neighbour where permitted by the courier service. If you do not wish this to happen, please notify us when placing your order.
If your order has not arrived within the estimated delivery period, please contact us as soon as possible so we can investigate with the courier. Any claims for missing deliveries should be reported within 13 days of placing the order.
Faulty Items
Products found to be faulty may be returned outside the standard returns period, subject to inspection. Items damaged through misuse, incorrect handling, normal wear and tear, or failure to follow care instructions will not be considered faulty.
Please ensure all usage and care guidance supplied with products is followed carefully.
Pricing & VAT
All prices displayed on our website are shown in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP).
VAT is charged at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Delivery charges may also be subject to VAT.
Orders shipped outside the UK may be subject to local import duties, customs charges, or taxes. These charges are the responsibility of the customer and are not included in our prices unless clearly stated otherwise.
